These general terms and conditions for the events of the CEETM 2020 UG ("we", "us", "organizer") apply to the purchase of tickets and the attendance of the events that we hold alone or together with local organizers ("event"). The house rules of the respective event locations apply. With the purchase and possession of a ticket to an event, the applicability of these terms and conditions is accepted.

 

GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

1. Purchase of tickets and additional services

Tickets and additional services (e.g. supporting program) can only be purchased online via the website www.ceetm2020.de. Only tickets up to the maximum quota will be sold. The organizer reserves the right to limit the maximum number of tickets per person.

The payment for purchased tickets and additional services is made directly upon purchase.

2. Access authorizations

Children under the age of 18 may only attend the event when accompanied by an authorized person. As a rule, people are authorized to use personal sensors. the parents, but not persons responsible for bringing up the child (e.g. older friend). The legal provisions of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) apply.

3. The liability of the organizer

The organizer's liability for damage of any kind is excluded. This exclusion does not apply to damage that the organizer caused intentionally or through gross negligence, in cases of (simple) negligence on the part of the organizer for damage based on injury to life, limb or health, as well as for the simple negligent breach of essential contractual obligations the organizer. Significant contractual obligations are all obligations, the fulfillment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible and on the observance of which the visitor regularly trusts and can trust.

In the case of simply negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, the organizer's liability - with the exception of damage to life, limb or health - is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract upon conclusion of the contract or on breach of duty. In this respect, the organizer's liability for damage that is exclusively attributable to the visitor's risk area is excluded.

The above exclusions and limitations of liability also apply to the liability of the organizer for its organs, employees and vicarious agents as well as the personal liability of the organs, employees and vicarious agents of the organizer.

4. Cancellation

After purchasing the ticket, in addition to the statutory right of return, every participant can cancel the event free of charge until July 20, 2020. Cancellation is no longer possible after this date.

5. Entering and leaving individual areas

All event venues can only be entered with a valid ticket. Guests only have access to the designated areas of the event venues.

6. Security controls

Depending on the security requirements of the event locations, it may be prohibited to bring your own drinks or other items. To ensure compliance with the regulations, the organizer can commission security personnel to carry out security checks.

7. Consent to the production and utilization of sound and image recordings

We can film, live stream and photograph the event and make audio and audiovisual recordings from it. This can include the audience. By entering the events, the visitor irrevocably consents to the free use of his or her image and voice for photographs, live broadcasts, broadcasts and / or recordings of images and / or sound recordings made by the organizer, its agents or other third parties in connection created with the event and its subsequent utilization in all current and future media (such as in particular in the form of sound and image sound carriers as well as digital distribution, e.g. via the Internet). This means in particular that the visitor grants the organizer and his third contractual partners / licensees the right in terms of time, place and content to record images, voice, actions and / or statements of the visitor in any form without the visitor's separate consent and in the media of his choice reproduce, transmit, make publicly available and / or distribute in any other form for any commercial and non-commercial purposes.

8. Exclusion of visitors

If visitors violate these general event guidelines as well as the statutes of Round Table Germany or Round Table International, the organizer can exercise their house right and issue a ban on the entire event. The tickets lose their validity when the house ban is pronounced.

9. Handling the admission ticket

Before entering the event for the first time, the guest receives a registration identification (e.g. lanyard with name tag). This identification and the tickets must be carried along throughout the event. In the event of loss, the organizer does not grant a claim for replacement.

10. Cancellation / relocation / program changes

10.1 An event can be canceled. Before you start your trip, you should find out on our website whether the event is taking place as intended.

10.2 Program changes may occur at the events. The organizer will endeavor to replace them. The visitor has no claims.

10.3 Our liability in the event of cancellation, cancellation, postponement or other significant changes to the event is limited to the reimbursement of the nominal value of the admission ticket. Personal arrangements made by the ticket holder, including travel and accommodation in connection with the event, are at your own expense and risk. In these cases we are not liable beyond the reimbursement of the nominal value of the admission ticket, in particular for expenses incurred. The restrictions according to para. 3. accordingly. A significant change is when there is a change that makes the event a significantly different event than a ticket buyer can reasonably expect.

10.4 If the event is canceled, canceled or postponed due to a circumstance for which the organizer is not responsible (e.g. force majeure, restrictions due to Covid-19), the visitor's right to withdraw from the contract is excluded, subject to the following provisions. In the event of cancellation or cancellation, the organizer will make up for the event as far and as soon as possible and reasonable. If the event is postponed or - in the event of cancellation or cancellation - made up, the tickets for the event remain valid. The ticket holder can request reimbursement of the nominal value of the admission ticket in accordance with Section 10.3 if it is unreasonable for him to delay the event in individual cases (e.g. due to a demonstrably already booked holiday trip on the new event date).
